Aim and Objectives

Igwebuike Research Institute aims at promoting a deeper understanding of Africa s history, culture, and contributions to human knowledge, fostering a community of scholars, researchers, and learners dedicated to advancing African excellence and global impact.

The specific objectives of IRI include:

  1. To conduct interdisciplinary research on African history, culture, language, literature, art, and science.
  2. To provide academic programs on African studies.
  3. To organize conferences, seminars, workshops, and lectures on African-related topics.
  4. To establish a resource center with a vast collection of African-related materials.
  5. To promote African languages and literature, including translation and publication projects.
